Terms of Service

Effective: August 7, 2026

• Not advice. ChartLink is a technical image renderer. It does not provide investment, legal, medical, or other professional advice.
• Your content. Inputs are supplied by you. You are responsible for legality and rights. We do not store chart business data; renders are computed per request (CDN may cache by URL).
• AGPL core. The open-source render engine is AGPL-3.0. Network use of modified closed-source forks requires source offer. Hosted Pro is the commercial path for closed-source products.
• Free tier. Rate-limited; attribution required. Exceeding limits returns HTTP 429 — already embedded URLs keep working when under limit again (we do not hard-brick historical embeds).
• Acceptable use. You may not use ChartLink for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or security-compromising content. We may rate-limit or suspend abusive traffic to protect users and infrastructure.
• Availability. The free early-access service is provided without an uptime guarantee. We work to preserve stable image URLs, but you should retain source configurations and use appropriate fallbacks for critical systems.
• Billing. Paid plans will use Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payment, invoices, and applicable sales taxes. Recurring plans renew until canceled. Paid checkout is not yet active.
• Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChartLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
• Changes and contact. Material changes will be published with a new effective date. Use the Contact page for questions, complaints, or legal notices.
